STARTING A
WEBSITE
The process can be broken into 3
stages.

Choose a domain name. You
can choose a domain here with us and have us register it for you or
you can go elsewhere. The choice is entirely up to
you.
You can have us register domain for you for $14.95 by

here. Find a name that will best describe your
website. This name (what we call a domain name) is how
people will find you when they go onto the world wide
web.
Once you have found the right name for your website and
you are sure it is available to purchase, secure the
name so others cannot use it.

Find a company to host your
website - It is one thing to register your domain name
but it is equally important to attach that name to a web
server with your favorite web hosting company, hopefully
us. :-), so you have a place to put up your
website.
You don't have to go with us, therefore we compiled a
review page of other
well established hosts that you can go with if not
us. Again, this is your choice.

Build your website - There are 3
ways you could build your website.
A.) Buy a program like Microsoft Frontpage, Adobe GoLive
or Macromedia Dreamweaver and learn how to use the
program and build your own website.
B.) Use the free online website builder that comes with
your hosting package with us or we recommend that you
download the free web page builder from
NVU and
learn how to use the program and build your own website.
C.) If all else fails, you can pay someone else to do it for you. You can
hire one of our web designers to do it for you
here.

That's everything to get started.
