How do I create links to my site?

Creating links is as simple as cutting and pasting. Just go to the Banner Links section, choose the link you want to create.  Copy the HTML code from the text box window and paste it into your site or your emails.  Note: If your email service provider doesn't allow for you to send out HTML formatted emails, just remove the "a href" tag and the "img src" tag and simply cut and paste the website address in its full entirety (i.e. http://www.pswebpros.com/affiliate/affiliate.php?1234).  You will still get credit for all click-throughs.  For your convenience, your affiliate link will be displayed in the upper right corner of your affiliate control panel.

What type of links can I create?

We currently offer banner links and text links or you can make your own using your affiliate website address as the destination (i.e. http://www.pswebpros.com/affiliate/affiliate.php?1234)

Why do I have to use the link generators?

In order for the system to properly track impressions, click-throughs, and sales coming from your Affiliate Site, the tags must contain critical tracking information. If any of this information is incorrect or missing, you won't get proper credit for orders resulting from the erroneous link. The only way to ensure that all information will be correctly tracked is to create links using the tag generator.

How do I paste HTML code onto my web site?

Select all of the HTML code in the "Source Code" box by highlighting all of the text.  Copy the HTML code to the clipboard by typing Ctrl-C or right-clicking on the highlighted text and choosing "Copy." Paste the HTML code into your page by typing Ctrl-V or choosing Edit-Paste from within your editing application.

What is the commission structure for the P.S. Web Pros affiliate program?

Every time you refer a customer to us and that customer makes a purchase, you earn a commission between 25% - 45% per order based on how many sells you make.  You'll only gain commissions for a new customer and one who pays yearly.  A sell is a sell no matter what the package is that the customer is paying for.  Once you reach a payment level you stay there until you move on to the next one.

How and when do I get paid?

We send out commissions every 1st of the month that you have earned $50 or more.  We can send you a check or you can request for funds to be sent via PayPal and get paid instantly.  Click here to sign up for PayPal if you don't have an account.  We will only send checks out to U.S. residents.  All other affiliates not within the United States have to have a PayPal account to be paid.  Check to see if PayPal is available in your country funds.  All funds are issued in USD (United States Dollars).  There is a $2.50 surcharge for every check that we cut and send so it is highly recommended for you to sign up and get a PayPal account because it's free to receive funds that way and you'll receive the money the same day that we send it.

How do I keep track of commissions?

You can keep track of your commissions by logging in to your account control panel.  You can do that by clicking on login on the left hand side of this page.  Please note that we will send you an email when a sale is made but the sale won't show up in your account control panel until at least 30 days has passed.  Please save all email we send to you for your records.

How often are reports updated?

Reports are updated overnight.

Why do you ask for/require my social security number?

The IRS requires us to detail the commission payments we make to Affiliates. In order to deliver your commission payments to you, we need your social security number. It is used in the reporting process and will never be used for other purposes.  You are not required to give us your social security number but we may ask for it before payment is to be sent to you.
